TAKING PHOTOS
I want to send pictures of a case.  What should I do so my photos will be helpful to your technicians?
That's Great!  Doctors who send photos always receive higher quality restorations.

Here's a few things to keep in mind:

Shade photos should be taken before preparation begins.

We can't match a shade from a photo alone - take a photo with the shade tab next to the tooth to be prepared.

Make sure shade tab number is visible in photo.

Let us know which characterizations your patient wants us to replicate (e.g. If your patient has hypocalcifications or enamel cracks on her tooth, does she also want them on her crown?).

While photos may show certain characteristics, nothing beats a pre-op model for communicating unique shaping, positioning or contouring (e.g. Precise replication of a diastema.)

Be sure to take a photo of the stump with the closest matching Natural Die Stump Shade.
